The Kougaress pouncing on injustice...

just like her heroines and heroes do in their love stories.

A new genre in town: Justice Fiction ... see below.

Late afternoon mews, Autumn-lounging Big Cat Beauties... yes, nice coolish Fall weather on the Kougaress's beautiful tame prairie... another delayed bloggie posting because of penning Volcano's Angelic Forecast... it's an intense writerly process.

Watch your tails, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

YES! The Kougar e-sent her *flash fiction* post for romance author, Karen Nutt's Halloween Flash Fiction Bash at The spooktacular fun begins on October 1, with a new author featured each day during the entire month of October. The Kougar is scheduled for October 6, and yes, she needs to get the PROMO put up... her only excuse is being manically busy.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do
by Pat Cunningham

Bethany clung to her boyfriend Jordan and didn’t even try to fight the tears. Maybe if she held him tight enough she could keep her heart from shattering. “You can’t leave!” she wailed. “You just can’t. School’s starting.”

Jordan patted her awkwardly. “Don’t cry,” he pleaded. “Geez, Beth. I told you this would happen when we started dating. My family always heads south this time of year. We’ll be back in March, I promise.”

A new genre in town: Justice Fiction ... the Kougaress learned something new about the fiction book market when listening to the following show on COAST TO COAST AM. In all honesty, at this point in time, she doesn't pay much attention to other fiction genres other than what she writes in... and she could care less about NY or Amazon bestseller lists. For the sake of time, the Kougaress won't go into *why* that is.

JUSTICE FICTION, according to William B. Scott are books that seek *justice* for a real tragedy experienced by the author, who then writes a story addressing the injustice done with creative solutions. This happens because the author can no longer get any justice through the system. [who can, right?]

This genre is beautifully intriguing for a number of very good reasons, especially in these times. Not to mention, this 'justice fiction' parallels what the Kougaress has done when writing her books. She always incorporates that basic theme -- or 'justice must be done' and IS done 'creatively' in her stories.

Yes, from the time of her birth, this Big Cat has always had an intrinsic sense of what is just and what is not. She's fought for justice for others and for herself. At times, she's triumphed. And at other time, she's been severely brutalized by the system. She's watched others she cared about severely brutalized as well. And the world today... well... justice has been left in the dust and stomped down into the dirt by moronic jackboots.

On a further note, the Kougaress well remembers when the news story broke that a man who had been 'legally' carrying his gun was shot to death at a Costco in Las Vegas. The details were few and far between, and no one appeared to be 'talking' at that time... other than a few witnesses who stated the man had NOT acted provocatively in any way. So, yeah, it was an OBVIOUS COVERUP from the start.

Well, it was Mr. William B. Scott's son who was murdered that day. His book, THE PERMIT, is 'justice fiction'. And it sounds like one helluva good story.

Police Brutality & Abuses of Power

Date: 09-28-13
Host: John B. Wells
Guests: William B. Scott, Amber Lyon

Joining John B. Wells, former NSA officer and author William B. Scott discussed his book, "The Permit", a work of fiction based on the real murder of his son by police and its subsequent coverup. Scott revealed the epidemic of police brutality against civilians and how the system protects the bad guys in official positions.

In the first hour, investigative journalist Amber Lyon reported on how CNN takes money to run favorable stories about certain world governments and animal/human trafficking.

FORTUNATE WOLVES, Keira and Zane's love story

This pic reminds the Kougar of her mss, FORTUNATE WOLVES, Keira and Zane's love story

Early, early morning mews, Big Cat Beauties... rain oh blessed rain fell on the tame prairie... not nearly enough... but it was a gentle soaking in rain... the temps have cooled considerably but are perfect for Fall... gosh, what a long, long day... the Kougaress's head is spinning from being so busy.

Darling kittens, not only the crap being hurled at us... but likely lots of economic 'stuff' hitting the fan in the coming weeks. Prepare, 'cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

So, the Kougar didn't make the deadline for SNEAK PEEK SUNDAY once again... way too much on her plate these days.

However, she is trying to get FORTUNATE WOLVES shaped up to enter in the "So You Think You Can Write" contest... which in a way is a silly move on the Kougaress's part. She should finish revising RED LIONESS TAMED... but so it goes... the MUSE does not always cooperate... and that's a big ole understatement!

Saturday, September 28, 2013 of her wilder incarnations...

Mistress P Prepares For the Longhorn at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS. Mistress P in one of her wilder incarnations before she moved to Talbot's Peak and became Nick's right-hand assistant at the G&B Gazette.

Half past midnight mews, most magical Felines... a warmish Autumn day on the tame prairie... but then nothing really feels normal about the weather or the seasons in these times... at sunset the orange-gold neon color hit the windows with the most amazing blaze of light... and, yes, of course, another ultra busy day for the Kougaress... brain fatigue is starting to set in.

Darling kittens, lots of nasty financial breakdowns going on right now, including cyber attacks. Keep some cash handy, prepare, and keep a watch on your account[s], if you have them. Remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Lots of fabulous 'out of the box' ideas and info for this Big Cat's paranormal-fantasy love stories, so much so it's a banquet that can't be eaten fully. Btw, if you're in the mood for an excellent, mind-reeling-revealing show, listen to THE TRUTH DENIED, hosted by Roxy Lopez at Revolution Radio Roxy interviewed Robert H. Evans JR.  His site is:

And afterwards... Kerry Cassidy's ~project camelot~ Revolution Radio show was beyond fascinating and wonderfully mind-expanding, especially about our ancient origins. Two of her guests from down under talked about the ancient megalith site they discovered in Australia, and the messages from the aborigine elders they have been given for humanity. It was difficult to understand some of what the two men said because there was this constant buzzing sound, which was traced to their computer. Anyhoo, the website is: ~ The Kougaress tried to access it, but there's a message that says the bandwidth has been exceeded.

Authoress news and mews ~

Okay then, it looks like the Kougar has two more chapters to revise for RED LIONESS TAMED... then it comes down to formatting for the Indie release.

At the last minute, the Kougar remembered to sign up for the MY SEXY SATURDAY linky blog She will be posting at TITLE MAGIC ~

Kitten readers, our own Rebecca Gillan at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, has also entered -- along with Pat Cunningham/DanaStewart -- Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest. If you're in the mood for dark and scary, and for EXTRA HAWT, here's the linky:

The Kougar is considering joining in the contest fun with a manuscript she wrote back in 2006-07. She will intentionally re-write the first chapter so she has 'no chance' of finalling, because she doesn't want to deal with a major publisher. Anyhoo, she's shortened her original title to "Fortunate Wolves" and will likely use another pen name.

Mistress P Prepares For the Longhorn

Dressing Up & Hanging Out, Size Does Matter
by Serena Shay

Little mink eyes watched as his Mistress, and her friend Ziva, dressed for tonight’s entertainment.  They never gave a thought to him still being in the room and one thing he could safely say was that Nick was one lucky SOB and an even bigger ass.

“Ziva, turn around and give us a full frontal of your world-class body in that outfit.”

Danny agreed.  Ziva was built in a way that could make an alpha male drop to his knees and promise her the world.  It would also make a beta mink weep with the unfairness of said world.  He would never be enough for Ziva; he was barely enough for Mistress P.

Rebecca Gillan Reviews "Charming (Pax Arcana)" by Elliott James

Very early in the morning mews, nirvana-rolling KitKats... still mild weather on the tame prairie... and rain is still very much needed... what a crazy-making day! and it ain't over... ~big sighs~

Things are a-moving and a-shaking all over the world. Take care and prepare, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

Yowls, a bit of revising done on RED LIONESS TAMED. The Kougar has gone into an organizing mode, and continued to work on her new author site... so, everything else has been put on hold, given her limited time and energy.

Okay then, it took a bit of doing, but the Kougar overcame her tech un-savvy and successfully changed to her new author blog site

Oh, and the Kougar spent some fun time pinning animal pictures to her ShapeShifter Seductions Pinterest board A nice break, but gosh time escapes darn fast.

Hot twist on a werewolf story!
by Rebecca Gillan

Ok, so I read this book called "Charming (Pax Arcana)" by Elliott James. It just came out yesterday and despite having a day job with precluded me reading during the day, I've already finished it. Let me say, for a "non-romance" book, this one had some seriously delicious romance going on! It also had a rather unique spin on both the Prince Charming legend and werewolves in general.

Writing YA Paranormal/Horror as Catrina Burgess-

This is the type of authorly research the Kougar does on a regular basis for her books like MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS. She has a sequel planned...

Rise of the Pyramids ... with the land and climate changes now occurring on the planet, a major secret it being 'uncovered' about our ancient, antediluvian past... that is, Earth is actually riddled with pyramids and pyramid type structures. While the Kougaress doesn't have the time to do a thorough investigation at this point, and offer lots of examples, she still thought it was worthwhile to mention this 'uncovering'.

Terceira: Subaquatic pyramidal shaped structure found – Azores

Recently the Kougaress listened to a show on Revolution Radio ... and of course now, she can't recall the details of precisely which program... however, the source was credible and there is some old photo evidence which shows the top of an ancient pyramid at Montauk in New York state.

Okay, that was it, Stewart Swerdlow *Montauk-The Alien Connection* and his wife were on Sacred Matrix with Janet and Dr Sasha Lessin.

So, the Kougaress just found this ultra-fascinating link:

Article - The Montauk Project - Lightnet
An old book dated 1911 and entitled 'Historic Long Island' contains a photograph of the 'Pyramids of Montauk,' the plate shows three pyramids or mounds about 20 feet high.

Talk about a goddess heroine...

Golden Venus In the Night Sky
This might be a good title...

The Kougaress searched for a golden Venus goddess
and found this pic from "The Sun of the New Era - Golden Age is rising and we are embracing the new life with Golden Goddess spiral of Light."

Talk about a goddess heroine for an erotic romance...

Very early morning mews, plucky lucky KitKats... certainly nice enough on the tame prairie today... wow, what a *wrap your head in duct tape* day... anyhoo, the Kougaress made a late trip down to her mailbox, about eight in the evening... there was this celestial object, which is probably Venus, in the western sky... the strange thing, though... it looked like a mini moon and was deep gold in color... this Big Cat has *never ever* seen Venus this golden color.

Kisses, kitten darlings. Watch out for the big land changes on the way. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

The Kougar spent a bunch o' time working on her author's blog today... so far so good... and as usual doing other authorly stuff while handling all the life-doing stuff.  Of course, she'd like to get back to revising RED LIONESS TAMED... her brain kinda got turned to mush after being on the phone for about an hour handling a banking problem.

Plus, the Kougar worked on her flash-fiction blog for romance author, Karen Nutt's Halloween Flash Fiction Bash during the month of October at

Duke Zon of the Red Rock Pack

Black Wolf Shapeshifter Visits SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS.

Wee hours of the morning mews, gorgeous and galaxy-gallivanting Big Cats... overcast on the tame prairie today with just a smattering of rain... the Kougaress should try a rain dance... maybe the goddess of rain will laugh and pour down some of the vital wet stuff... please, oh please.

Take care, prepare, and watch your tails, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

Hey kitten readers, Pat Cunningham, the Kougar's author buddy at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, has entered Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest. Pat is using the pen name Dana Stewart. Her entry is fun-scary, compelling to the max, and the dark magic is definitely rising! Here's the link to her chapter...
~ ~

So, the Kougar got some more done on her author blog... it's a slow process at this point since she can only devote so much time and energy.

And, gosh, RED LIONESS TAMED is so close to being finally revised, the Kougar would love to get that done!

YAHOO is still being a 'pill' ... sometimes the 'new topic' works... sometimes not... and the same when using email... WHAT A GIGUNDIS UN-FUN MESS!

Duke Zon, Black Wolf Shifter Visits ...

Duke Zon, Black Wolf Shapeshifter

Tuesday howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.

So, here's the deal. I had an idea for a Big Foot flash scene, which I began writing. However, I'm exhausted after a long day of unexpected problems. So... instead here's Chapter Two from my WIP currently titled, The Black Wolf’s Prophetess -- starring Sondra and Duke, a wolf shapeshifter. And, yes, it is UNEDITED.

Duke Zon sauntered toward The Red Rock Den, his town’s noon to late-night hangout. The large private room at the back served as the common meeting ground for the males of his Virgo Moon Clan, and had for the last hundred and thirty years only when they stayed in human form, however.

For an instant he halted in his tracks. The raw alpha musk of Duke’s two older brothers, Thor and Tibur, boded trouble, the kind where they would all simultaneously shift to wolves and attack each other in a ferocious, all-out battle for rule of the pack.
