A Highlander Halloween Visit To Wolf Peak Territory

*Surprise Highlander Visit* howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.

Ah, the Highlander, as played by Adrian Paul in the TV series--yes, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE. I definitely fell in love with the Highlander character bigtime. I adore history and sword-wielding alpha 'immortal' Scotsman.

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm not the only one.

Watching the very sexy Adrian Paul in historical flashbacks was sensual heaven for me. Yes, yes, yes! a romantic novel hero in action. And right there on my little TV screen.

I am eternally grateful to Adrian Paul and all those involved in producing-making that incredible series. I easily lost myself in the epic 'Highlander' fantasy.

Also, to be honest, there was something extraordinarily real about the series, as if I relived other lifetimes.

Highlander

  • Adventure · TV-14 · Ended 1998
Taken from the film, Highlander, Duncan MacLeod, clansman of Connor in the film also finds he is being stalked by not only other immortals trying to kill him before the time of the gathering, but also a secret society of mortals who call themselves 'The Watchers' and also seem intent on killing him but "The Watchers" observe and record and never interfere. Duncan and the other immortals can only be killed by decapitation and often live for centuries.

So, how did the *Adrian Paul* Highlander arrive in Wolf Peak Territory for a Halloween visit? An absolutely spectacular surprise, except of course to the Circle of Witches--who kept the exciting secret.

The answer: because in another dimension he's real, a real immortal Highlander. In our earthly dimension his story shows up as mere entertainment, as a flat hologram.

Get it?

Well, the gist is that dimensional doors are quite handy, and given the Wolf Peak community is always welcoming to the Good Ones ...and there is a plethora of fantabulous eateries, shops, themed nightclubs like the Midnight Stardust Supperclub, and of course, unique sporting events ...plus there's the chance to meet with shifters of all types and stripes, with supernaturals of every mythical breed... and it's rumored Adrian Paul, the Highlander, has deep yen to ride a battle unicorn... a small herd has just made Wolf Peak Territory their home.

COME IN YOUR FAVORITE DRESS KILT... YES, THIS COSTUME EVENT WAS IN HONOR OF DUNCAN MACLEOD... AND GREAT FUN WAS HAD BY ALL

Season of the Werewolf In the Peak

October howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.

Tis the Season of the Werewolf. Yep, with howling step and moon-racing pep, they arrive, along with the Peak's Circle of Witches attired in their campy witchy gear. Then, there are the fearsome but friendly vampires--appearing and disappearing--who have made the Peak home. Yes, included are many creatures of the night, the mythical beasts like the Unicorns and Pegasuses and dragons...the fairies, pixies, angels...and, of course, the ghosties and ghoulies.

Absolutely, lots of Halloween-inspired, spooktacular events happening in Wolf Peak Territory. The werewolves creep about playing tricks on everyone, and gently scaring the little ones. Of course, these beastly wolf critters also hand out yummy candy treats afterward. This has become a yearly tradition, especially in the Peak's small yet rapidly growing town of Moonrise Lake.

For the adult population of the Peak, there are OctoberFest and Halloween celebrations galore. Among the most favored are the numerous costume balls. One is the *Come As Your Favorite Werewolf Ball*...it's black tie with elegant dancing music. Quite the enjoyable contrast, indeed.

Who can be the biggest, baddest, scariest Werewolf ever, a new contest in Moonrise Lake...all for All Hallow's Eve Fun.

The latest idea for the Midnight Stardust Supperclub is the Purple Fantasy Costume Ball. A bit of a break from the more traditional Halloween festivities.
