Sunny-nice-weather howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.
So, I've had major computer issues. Fortunately, I did purchase a chromebox a while back, and I have good internet access... however, Go-ogle docs is no fun, and my brain does not compute on how to use that platform... plus, my wordperfect 12 files don't work, and neither do the openoffice files on chromebox... yeah, you can do pdf files, but that's a mess too. And gosh, no downloading OpenOffice as a working program on the chromebox... I guess there are apps that supposedly work... well, no luck for the Kougar. Yes, I did ask if all my programs could be downloaded... but that's obviously not true... But yep, this Big Cat is a dummy when it comes to this stuff. Plus, she LIKES her XP computer programs. And she DOES NOT like the cloud.
Okay, as I said before, I'm still plugging along as far as revising/editing WAITING FOR A FILLY GIRL. Currently, I'm on Chapter Forty-six. In this snippet, Keina, as winged horse, is assisting in the battle to save Wolf Peak Territory from a massive drone attack.
Tagline: Ex super-soldier boy meets winged filly girl. Will they live happily ever after? In Wolf Peak Territory anything is possible.
p.s. using a pdf file via chromebox to publish this blog is an effing mess to do!!!
Keina soared beneath the canopy of diamond-brilliant stars. Her blood fiercely blazed. Yet, her spirit was fiercer.
She banked a tight turn, feeling Symone grip her sides harder. Her wings sliced through the cold air as she flew toward the ginormous formation of spidery-ugly drones—all them her size, at least.
Mere minutes ago, with deadly precision, Symone had eliminated ten of the laser-weaponized UAVs, or unmanned aerial vehicles. Whoever, or whatever, commanded the killer-tech swarm—whether humans with joysticks, a human variant species, or an AI in control—they'd made a serious combat mistake.
She and Symone had not been blown out of the sky.
Snapping her wings wide, Keina put on the aerial brakes. She wheeled a u-turn, and with her wings furiously beating the air, she streaked along the back edge of the drone formation.
The armada increased speed, as it advanced on Wolf Peak Territory. But no problem for her, given her flight speed, and no problem for the warrioress sharpshooter.
Pop-sizzle...pop-sizzle...one by one, Symone blasted the enemy UAVs into dust-sized particles—mostly before they armed themselves, and took aim.
Wishing you love and passion on the wild side ~
