By the time his potent, to-pant-for scent twitched her nostrils, Sozchy had already answered about every Valentine’s Day question ever thought of, from patrons at Dante’s Pleasure Club, and from her radio show callers...so it felt.

She adjusted her headset, ignoring the spike of her hormones -- probably bouncing off Mother Moon by now -- and punched up the evening’s last call.

“This is the Love Wolfess,” she throatily sang in her on-air voice. “What’s your question, Dharla?”

Sniffles answered her. Then, a tiny sob erupted.

"You promised me a special candle light dinner, babe," Marissa said with a nervous chuckle when she realized he'd pulled into the McDonalds parking lot. She peeked at him out the corner of her eye as she smoothed her coat over the skirt of her little red dress, purchased especially for tonight. He was grinning dopely but not bash fully.

Oh god. She knew that smile. That wasn't his oops, I made a mistake smile. Nor was it his I wonder if she realizes this is just a joke smile. That was his I had a hair-brained idea and ran with it smile. They'd been together for four years now, so she was very sure he though Valentine's Day dinner at a fast food joint was a good idea.

Tuesday night mews, Valentine-Vixen Big Cats... good gosh! it was frigid this morning... yowl about wanting to move south for the winter... the Kougaress loves her tame prairie, but this zero degree cold is not for her... fortunately, it did warm up this afternoon as forecasted... even some melting occurred... and it looks like warmer temps are on the way... yahoo! ... yesterday when this Big Cat was shoveling snow during the early evening before the sun had set, the nearly full moon had risen... it was a lovely sight, ethereal appearing because she was behind a thin layer of clouds.

Today Bo and Mary showed up after closing, to find Hannibal already clearing off tables. “So how did it go?” Bo asked.

Their mother, Elly McMahon, came out of the kitchen and flopped down into a booth, tired but smiling. “The Bighorn Valentine’s Day Breakfast Special was a huge success. I had more cooing couples and served up more plates of strawberry flapjacks than I normally do in a month. And more blueberry, sadly.”

Saldana let her feminine side have free rein. Positively giddy, she admired the red patent leather high heels then slipped her feet inside as if performing a ritual. She bent at the waist and caressed up her leg over the silkiest pair of stockings she'd ever owned. Gold and silver dusted, the sheer hose accentuated the shape of her calf.

Keeping her apprehensive thoughts at bay, Saldana straightened and gazed at her reflection in the full length, three way mirror that had been exquisitely crafted.  Everything about her room at the Interspecies Pleasure Club was classy in the extreme.

Saturday night mews, Valentine-adorable KitKats... a dreary overcast day on the tame prairie... however, the temps were a bit milder, though not warm enough to melt much of moderately deep snow cover... about eight inches worth... wow! Lots of UFO sightings... they continue off the charts all around the world... hey, if you All are on the good side, come on down... otherwise, may you be defeated by superior forces...

Anyhoo, the Kougaress experienced an earthlink-connection outage this morning... the first one she's been aware of... or, at least, for the hour or so she couldn't access any pages from her browsers... apparently, there were a lot of outages happening for e-devices... according to the info this Big Cat heard... and good gosh, it's frustratingly difficult dealing with the support service... whether it's because English is not their first language, or they are simply trained to handle things by a rote formula... but you have to repeat info over and over, as if it's a kindergarten class... ~sighs~

It's a rough world for a lot of us now, darling kittens. Hunker bunker down, and keep preparing. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Octavia looked at the snow globe center of her dressing table.  Roses of varying shades filled the water and artificial snow interior.  The roses retained their beauty for her to enjoy again and again.  She remembered the time the bouquets arrived shortly after Tomas joined their household.  Tongson's jealousy and possessiveness almost broke the trio apart.  Tomas admitted to feeling similar pangs and quirks during a yelling match between the two of them.
