Very early morning mews, Halloween-precocious and pampered KitKats... milder temps today on the tame prairie... and it looks like rain is moving in ~hope,hope~ ... today when the Kougaress ventured outside to toss some gray water on her rose bush, she noticed the beautiful shape one of her trees had grown into... the leaves are just starting to turn a rusty red on this tree... the trees hiding it from view previously have dropped most of their leaves... yes, this Big Cat does love all of her trees.
Update: it began raining about four in the morning... oh happy days!
Another update: The Kougaress got interrupted and then she ran out of energy... so she's posting really late. Some good news... it's still gently raining on the tame prairie.
Watch your beautiful tails, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Shazelle bent at the waist carefully rolling on the black silk stocking -- actually the sheer black pantyhose she'd purchased when shopping at a specialty costume shop in Talbot's Peak. As she adjusted them for comfort, more unbidden tears slid down her cheeks. She reached for yet another tissue, dabbing away the wetness.
Shazelle pressed a cold cloth to her face. Gypsy Red Wolf, her good friend and belly dance instructor, had brought the bowl of water infused with lavender and rose essential oils, after she'd walked Shazelle to her room at the Pleasure Club -- the seduction-splendid room that was supposed to be her All Hallow's Eve honeymoon suite.
