Jock slumped down in the pew and tried to ignore the hollow, gnawing ache in his belly. The fact that he was here, at the wedding of his paternal cousin Amelia’s maternal cousin Amanda, said worlds about how desperate he had been to out of attending the moon-darking ceremony. It was not something that came to wolves naturally, dammit, and he wasn’t going to go along with it!
