High Strangeness Moon

Happy Christmas Day mews, Beautiful Big Cats... a cold, cold day but it was an amazingly gorgeous ice fairyland on the tame prairie... fortunately, the coating of ice wasn't thick enough to harm anything... and the jewel-bright glints when the sunlight hit just right, it was like being in a different, more magical realm... the Kougaress wishes she was in a better state of mind to appreciate it more.

Drey wanted to leap and bound like a young cub after a butterfly, and say he'd find a reindeer herd tomorrow. The wisdom of his years prevailed, though. Korinne needed time to adjust to him, to the idea that he was serious about bringing reindeer to his ranch.

"Why not?" he answered her question. "I'll do some research. Find out what's possible."

Korinne's eyes glimmered with a mustard seed's worth of hope, to his eye, before she averted her gaze.

High Strangeness Moon

Now for a high strangeness story about the moon. About two or so in Christmas Eve morning the Kougaress got up to check on things... and she had Revolution Radio ~freedomslips.com~ on... the round table show... anyway Robert, one of the hosts called in, and began talking about the top part of the moon being hidden ... and it was!!! This Big Cat watched the moon for half and hour or longer... then checked back several times. She HAS NEVER EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!! It was though an object of some kind, a celestial body, or maybe a mothership type of craft, was interfering with the reflected light from the sun. NO, it wasn't a cloud. The sky was clear. Furthermore, a bunch of us across the country witnessed the same phenomena. Whatever was between the moon and the sun didn't remain absolutely stationary, but shifted positions, and covered a larger portion of the moon at times... so that twice it appeared as though  the lit surface looked like the shape of a football. It's difficult to fully explain in this short space... and it WAS NOT the waning moon. Because for one thing the top part was cut off and line was curved the wrong way. It wasn't a vertical line but a horizontal line. So, what is happening???

Update: last night the sky was too overcast to see the moon.
