Chloe snuggled closer to Gill.  The strip she urinated on sat aging as it needed to for several hours.  Over the counter animal pregnancy tests didn’t yield results as fast as human ones.  Even a false positive required a visit to the local md/veterinarian for solid confirmation.  Gill’s soft snores lulled her deeper into sleep, where a fair-haired little boy ran after his darker haired sister.

FROM ~coasttocoastam.com~ Blurb: In the latter half, author and investigator Linda Godfrey talked about the history, sightings and lore surrounding the most mysterious monsters in America, strange creatures that people have witnessed on land, air, and water. A number of gigantic birds have been seen, and some have the appearance of raptors, like some kind of mutated eagle or vulture, she detailed. There was a sighting by a man a few years ago in northern Wisconsin in very tall weeds. The somewhat stork-like appearing bird must have been around 11 ft. tall since it was so far above the weeds. Its wings had an immense rolling motion, and he estimated its wingspan to be around 18 to 20 ft.
Godfrey spoke about various types of sea creatures and lake monsters, including "drowned-sters," her term for bizarre looking corpses that wash up on the beach. Sometimes it turns out these odd looking bodies are known creatures such as raccoons that loose their hair or undergo changes while underwater, she explained. Speaking of the legendary Native American Windigo, often portrayed as a Dogman or Bigfoot-type creature, tribes vary in their descriptions combining human, animal, and demon qualities. She also touched on the Jasper County Ear Eater, a baffling case involving a large predator that was never seen. A mysterious red glow across the pacific ocean has baffled pilots flying across it.
JPC van Heijst was flying a Bowing 747-8 aircraft from Hong Kong to Alaska when he spotted the mysterious lights above the ocean half-way through his flight.

Today's flash scene was inspired by a CRAZY *someone lost their mind* news story I read a few days ago.

This is dedicated to Alex Stone, the sixteen year old student from South Carolina, who dared to actually IMAGINE what any fictional writer might imagine and write for publication.

"Noooooooooo!!!" Sharra screeched. To her ears it sounded like the enraged banshee she'd heard while walking the night in Ireland. Said banshee was now a close friend.

But beyond that wonderful thing in her life, the tiny triceratops who regularly devoured her in-full-bloom roses had managed to sneak past the magick defense grid she'd just conjured last night. Sharra shrieked again, her furious wail bouncing off the nearby mountain peaks.

Somebody's pet -- Sharra quaked with anger -- the blue-green mottled dinosaur cast a glance in her direction that looked suspiciously like a satisfied smirk. Sharra scowled a warning. When the pitbull-sized beastie didn't move, she balled her fists, and planted them on her hips.

UFO Over Houston

The photo was taken in Houston, Texas on Monday, August 11, 2014 at around 7:30pm in the parking lot of a Kroger Grocery store. On this particular evening there was an unusually fierce thunderstorm in the Houston area. The lighting was very intense. I was walking into the supermarket when I decided to take a picture of the cloud formations over the downtown Houston skyline. I snapped the picture and went on my way. As I was walking through the parking lot I noticed a number of people pointing their cellphones to the sky to take pictures. Not unusual during a storm of this type but the strange thing is that they were pointing in a direction opposite the lightning.

Anyway, the next day there were several news stories on the local NBC affiliate concerning several sightings of UFOs during the storm. I thought nothing of it until a few days later I was going through my phone pictures and came across the pictures I took. For kicks I opened my pic and wouldn't you know one picture had this pair of "lights".

I can tell you that I did not notice anything when I took the picture. I know it is not a reflection of the street lamp because I took another one seconds later and there is nothing in the sky. It is just odd. Any thoughts?

Yard Circles
While mowing grass yesterday I came across these three circles in my front yard. Each one is a perfect 15-inch circle. There is no explanation for them being there. If I didn't mow the grass, I would never have found them. They weren't there last week when I mowed. I am wondering if other Coast listeners have reported finding circles in their yards.

Warren reported on his Arecibo Project, which sent a message from George Noory (download MP3) into space in tandem with the 37th anniversary of the mysterious 'WOW' signal that was received by SETI on this day in 1977. Warren also brought in ham radio operators from around the planet to help broadcast the message, as well as called on internet forces to telepathically project thoughts and intentions during the experiment. "This message was really designed to try to create some kind of a friendly connection with these visitors from afar," he said.

The 75-second recording contained GPS coordinates where it was hoped an extraterrestrial presence might appear, Warren continued, noting that webcams were placed in specific locations around Puerto Rico to watch the skies for activity. A filmmaker collected and analyzed the initial footage. In one video an object with a classic saucer shape appears and disappears at light speed, and in another clip a strange high-pitched tone sounds before an object appears then disappears straight up into the sky, Warren revealed.

The object seems to have been generating an energy field that induced the tone, Warren explained. Fellow researcher Mobius phoned in to say he thought the high-pitched tone sounded strikingly similar to the 1977 'WOW' signal, perhaps a message to humanity that George's recording was received and understood. Warren expressed his hope that peaceful advanced beings who might travel here would teach us their ways if we could learn to work together and live in harmony. "The fact that we are all focusing on the concept of contact, peacefully and optimistically together, may be what's much more important here," he said.

UFO sightings are commonplace, and videos of unexplained objects are made every day. It is not every day, however, that an object appears over a large city and remains unidentified. This is what happened on August 12 over Houston, and so far the large object ringed with lights remains unidentified. It is possible, of course, that it is a large drone being flown by a hobbyist/hoaxer, but the device would have had to have been at least 50 feet across, larger than any drone that can be bought off the shelf.
