Instinct demanded Kelila flatten herself against the brick building. Instead, her contrary nature kicked in, and she stilled, merely staring as the small herd of stallion shifters charged past her. "How can it sound like a stampede when they're wearing running shoes?" she muttered under her breath, then briefly shook her head at it all.

With her curiosity engaged, Kelila watched the 'racers' skid to a rough stop in front of Rattigan's. They shouldered each other in a battle to win first entry.

Rosalia barely had the chance to twitch her tail out of harm's way in time. The bar's door slammed open and five bare-chested studs charged in, lathered up and stinking up a storm. Normally Rosalia found stallion sweat a turn-on, but not in herd form. She wrinkled her nose and sent sympathetic vibes to the patrons who hurriedly vacated their stools.

The stud with the red-blond mane reached the bar first. "I win!" he whinnied. "Malt whiskey!"

Rainy June day mews, cozy and curled up Big Cats... so, the rain have returned to the tame prairie... it had dried out for a couple of days... so far, no actual flooding here, and the Kougaress is always glad she lives atop a long incline... anyway, yesterday this Big Cat had to do some heavy lifting, as in physical lifting... and given her health, she wore herself out too much... even though, her health has gradually improved, still it's all too easy to get fatigued to the point where not much else gets done... also, with the fast-river rising of critical events, thus, the increase in alternative news... well, the Kougaress just can't keep up anymore... but she does her best.

Take care, and watch out for the superstorms of life, most darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Now this is how it was done in the classy neighborhoods. No running around sniffing each other's tails and getting buck nekkid in the woods. Well, yeah, okay, but that could come later. First you got to know the girl. You stuck those pesky (but fun) animal instincts in the closet and treated her the way a lady wants to be treated, like royalty.

Normally that meant running down some kind of prey animal and laying the bloody corpse at her feet, but today it meant a rowboat on the lake in the woods and a peaceful glide around the water. And pay no attention to that big, surly bastard slouching along on the shore, annoyingly paralleling their course.

"Predator drone, you'll never see it coming," White Fang, super wolf, growled under his breath. Drily, he imitated the very words of the current, so-called leader of the free world.

"Yes, you will," he growly muttered, "if you have super hearing, then search it out with your super vision."

On night patrol, White Fang hovered high above Talbot's Peak territory. Given this was the second incursion of their airspace in as many days, White Fang hurled himself through the cool, dew-laden air like the infamous speeding bullet.

Saturday night mews, Autumn-rollicking Big Cool Cats... more wonderful weather on the tame prairie... and the Kougaress had all these plans for what to get done... she was out cutting some of her jungly yard down when she got bee stung unexpectedly, not once, but three overall times, one a direct stinger hit... yeah, she must have disturbed a nest... so, at that moment her life was in jeopardy since this Big Cat goes into Anaphylactic Shock unless she takes a particular supplement [Country Life Aller-Max] that she always keeps on hand... usually it only takes one dosage... this time, with the nasty, no-fun pain, and the fact that her thumb turned bright red, and the redness began spreading rapidly, she took three dosages, along with extra Vitamin C... and topically treated the three site areas with Tei-Fu oil, and some other natural products...it took about six hours before this Big Cat started feeling normal, and her thumb returned to its normal color... now there is just a bit of swelling... for several years as a kid, the Kougaress got bee allergy shots to supposedly keep her from having a bad reaction... well, that only worked one time in her life... after that, well, this Big Cat had to find her own remedies... thanks to the Divine, and those in the know about such remedies, she has found what works... thus, she's still alive and kicking and blogging.

As horse, Grant Thunderhead galloped...

Yes, the Kougaress absolutely loves horses, and this gray Lusitano stallion is a beauty!

Late night mews, Summer-prowling Big Cats... a bit milder temps on the tame prairie today... and it looks like storms are headed this way... some advice that might be useful... if you have one of those Himalayan salt lamps, and if there's high heat and humidity, it will 'sweat' and cover the area beneath it with salt... so the Kougaress had to deal with that mess... it's always something, isn't it? 

So, darling kittens, duck and cover from the superstorms of life. And, always remember this Big Cat loves ya!

Yep yowls, rolling along on the polishing of her latest manuscript... the Kougar, writing under the pen name, Stevie Klark, just wishes it would all happen much faster... but life stuff always intervenes.

Grant Clayton Thunderhead

As horse, Grant Thunderhead galloped over the magnificent harsh terrain of the Four Corners. His territory, as he thought of it, having lived on his small ranch spread for nine years now.
 

This land of majestic rock sculptures, or hoodoos, held ancient secrets. Grant sensed them beneath his flying hooves. Over the years, he'd gradually explored, looking for those secrets, and found an unbelievable, fantastical cache of steam-powered machines.

The freedom of the horse... a prominent theme in the Kougar's latest manuscript... which will be under a different pen name.  

Late night mews, Summer-skipping and moon tripping Big Cats... a nice rain last night on the tame prairie, and darn humid today... but no more rainshowers despite rain in surrounding areas... with all the trials and tribulations happening planet-wide, the Kougaress hopes for, and wishes for all good things to those in need... 'cause we all need love right now.

So,  the times just get crazier, darling kittens. Hold onto your precious tails, and keep preparing. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Yay! The Kougar finally finished the first draft of her special project, and is now in the polishing stage. The title: Ride the Roan Stud. And, yes, there is a horse shapeshifter hero.

UFO sightings are commonplace, and videos of unexplained objects are made every day. It is not every day, however, that an object appears over a large city and remains unidentified. This is what happened on August 12 over Houston, and so far the large object ringed with lights remains unidentified. It is possible, of course, that it is a large drone being flown by a hobbyist/hoaxer, but the device would have had to have been at least 50 feet across, larger than any drone that can be bought off the shelf.
