Animal Consciousness... shapeshifters...

The late Steve Irwin with an absolutely adorable tiger cub.

Late morning mews, Big Cat Beauties... gusting blustery winds today and most of yesterday on the tame prairie... but the temps are mild, almost, the Kougaress had another crisis to deal with, thus, another late posting... her physical stamina is going fast dealing with everything now... she's not used to hauling bricks... yeah, don't ask.

Anyway, the chaos is gathering thick and fast, darling kittens. So take care and beware. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

Animal Consciousness... shapeshifters... check out the article below, especially if you love shapeshifters... this goes to the heart of what a lot of authors and readers instinctively and intuitively know about our animal brethren. Thus, it's not so far-fetched in our imaginations that sentient animal-humans could truly exist... the Kougar resonates deeply with her shapeshifter heroines and heroes, and certainly feels them as real, as truly alive when she writes their stories.

More formatting done on RED LIONESS TAMED... so hopefully, it will be Indie published soon... hopefully...

Taking A Break
by Solara

Pris and I are working hot and heavy to finish up book 2 in my Cascade Bay Series.  Due to this and a long work week compacted into a short span, this week my creativity is in short supply.

Big Cat Note: this is an absolutely fascinating article on the sentience of animals. Oh, for a world where communication would happen naturally, and in a way that furthered good relationships between humans and animals... and, yes, plants too.

Weekender - Animal Consciousness Could Surpass Our Own
Friday, November 15, 2013

Do animals possess the same level of consciousness as humans? Unknown Country explores the possibility that "dumb animals" may be as sentient - or even more so - than humans. Because we are unable to communicate directly with animal species, the common human perception is that animal intelligence is somehow inferior to our own. Yet there are few 'animal-lovers' who cannot relate a tale telling of a connection with an animal, living or dead, which has positively impacted upon their lives in some way, or maybe even saved it.

Wishing you romance on the wild side…

Kisses, Savanna Kougar
