Late night mews, Spring-anticipating Big Cat Beauties... it warmed up on the tame prairie after a windstorm night... then, the Kougaress got hit by a message from Microsoft saying NO MORE SUPPORT for XP... yep, now you gotta pay through the nose for an upgrade, or pay for another computer... and, gee, according to what PC mag said, 30% of computer users, including businesses, still use XP, which was Microsoft's best selling system... so, in the long run Microsoft is shooting itself in the foot... meanwhile, they're trying to put a worse ring in our noses... so, as the cyber world turns, this Big Cat can't afford and doesn't want an upgrade... she may have to try the free software from Ubuntu, even with non-techie brain... or like one IT person commented, XP users just might be better off *without* Microsoft support... as in no backdoor spyware... and someone else talked about how to keep XP and protect your computer... which is above this Kougaress's paygrade... but she just might try to understand how that works... 'cause, ya know, this tyrannical move on Microsoft's part is really intolerable... really, why not improve XP instead of forcing customers to accept what they don't want... and, given Apple is NO BETTER as far as a lack of integrity... well...
