Ethiopian volcano spews stunning, deadly blue gas
Posted on May 31, 2014
May 2014 – AFRICA – New Scientist interviewed French photographer Olivier Grunewald, who captures striking images of nature like the Dallol volcano, located in the Danakil Depression of Ethiopia’s Afar region. Grunewald’s work uses no filters or digital enhancement, and the results are stunning. To capture the Ethiopian volcano, Grunewald waited until after dusk, when the blue flames were more visible against the night sky.

Late night mews, precious and precocious Kitkats... the crescent moon is lovely in the early night sky... it was darn humid on the tame prairie today and there were spotty rainshowers yesterday... gosh, the Kougaress's yard is green and lush to the max... yep, another too-busy day for this Big Cat... does exhaustion ever end?

So, watch out for the superstorms of life, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

In the Monster's Lair
by Pat Cunningham

Maureen never saw how she went from the truck to wherever she was now. Somebody pumped gas in the back of the truck and she and her fellow captives passed out. When she awoke she was alone in a bare room with drab walls. No sign of Pete or Atcheson.

The first person, and she used the term loosely, to visit her looked like a mashup of a monster movie scientist and his creation.

Can you remember the last time you saw a brilliant sunset? Think back to the bright pastels rippling across the evening sky, crashing into each other in the final chaotic moments of sunlight. People gathering on the beach to watch the sun dipping below the water's edge and the colors it leaves in its massive wake.

Paranormics reports the remains of a ”strange humanoid creature,” speculated to be an alien hybrid, estimated to be 3,000 years old, has been found in northern Germany near the location where the 3,600 year old Nebra Sky Disk was discovered in 2001.
Researchers describe it as “alien in appearance”  with human and non-human characteristics, which would have stood around 3 to 3 1/2 foot tall, with no outward sign of genitalia.

Are these the bones of a water demon?
