OFF TO THE RACES
The new Moon on January 30 at 11:20 pm PST (but listed as January 31 in many calendars) begins the year of the Wood Horse. Chinese New Year is a spring festival that begins on the second new Moon after Winter Solstice, with the Sun and Moon in Aquarius. This new Moon also starts the month of the Fire Tiger making energy very strong and lively as Horse year begins, a clear departure from the slower energy of the previous Water Snake year 2013. ~susanlevitt.com/astrology/horse-year-2014~
Happy Year of the Green Wooden Horse! And evening mews, deliciously enthusiastic Felines... so, yeah, the temps were milder today on the tame prairie... and the Kougaress planned on cleaning up some of the tree limbs that were blown onto her long drive... however, the winds were blustery, cold, and there was this nasty pollen stuff that instantly congested her lungs... so, that didn't get accomplished... ~sighs~
Gosh ~happening right now~ this Big Cat is really tired of hearing all the strange aircraft that fly overhead, and sound nothing like regular planes, jets or helicopters... not to mention they can't usually be seen despite the fact that they sound like they're directly overhead... darn yowl it!
Anyhoo, darling kittens, enjoy the spirited Year of the Horse. Keep galloping forward and remember! This Big Cat loves ya!

That doesn’t change the fact I’m seconds away from turning this here mattress into my own personal newspaper. You let me dump my load, and I’ll tell you anything you want to know. Including,” he added, with a jerk of his chin toward the grainy photo Agent Mulder had left on the nightstand, “what those beasties are and who made ‘em.”
