Snow Castle...

Yeah, Baby, It's Way Too Cold Outside

Monday night mews, New Year Happening Big Cats... no fun today for the Kougaress... she spent the first part of the day dealing with the frigid nightmare temps... dripping the water, sealing more of the cold out, etc. ... yeah, even though she did more winterizing to prepare... well, more had to be done since the house isn't all that heat-efficient... oh yeah, she's not looking forward to the energy bill, either... but, at least, so far *knock on wood* the electricity has stayed on ... anyway, the Kougaress has been watching the gorgeous crescent moon in the night sky for the past several nights... just one of those most splendid sights that uplifts the soul ... so, to top everything off this Big Cat had to trek the half mile down to her mailbox to pickup a package, so nothing would freeze inside... sheesh!

Authoress news and mews ~

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who participated in the *Baby, It's Cold Outside* BLOG HOP!!!
The Kougar spent Sunday penning *Volcano's Angelic Forecast* [at Kougar Kisses blog]... and then had a dickens of a time posting it today, because she had to do extra duty around the house due to the BITTER COLD.

The Next Donald Trump
by Pat Cunningham

(Camera close-up on pretty young woman in a parka, speaking into a microphone)

KIM: This is Kim Sheffield, reporting for Talbot’s Peak Cable Access Channel 11. If you’ve looked out your windows lately, you might have noticed a lot of snow on the ground, and a singular boom in real estate.

(The camera pans to a back yard, where several young children are climbing and sliding on an elaborate snow castle)

KIM (voice over): This latest trend in winter play equipment is the brainchild of Tommy Calhoun, possibly the youngest entrepreneur in Talbot’s Peak history. (The camera swings back to Kim and a ruddy-faced boy in a snow suit) How old are you, Tommy?

Wishing you romance on the wild side…

Kisses, Savanna Kougar
