Icy morning mews, all good and darling Kittens... the Kougaress delayed putting up this post 'cause she finally found the photos she needs for the cover art of her flash-scene novel,  *His Claimed Bride, Happy New Year On Another Earth* ... EUREKA! ... yep, the icy rains fell on the tame prairie yesterday, then a layer of snow... fortunately, the ice coating isn't heavy enough to do any real damage... thank the Divine.

Good tidings and blessing to ALL who need them. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

The Kougar finally updated her author page at Amazon. She's so overloaded with stuff to do, not enough gets down in a timely manner. ~shaking it off~

Okay then, there's a big discussion on the Indie Yahoo loop around Smashwords new affiliation with Scribd – which many authors think is a piracy site. The Kougar doesn't pretend to understand the economic details, good or bad or neutral, of this situation. However, on the surface the deal doesn't exactly make sense for authors. Nor does it seem feasible in the long term. Thus, the Kougar will probably opt out, especially given everything she's read from the other authors, who know a heckuva lot more.

Gil looked out his bedroom window.  Grimacing, he hastily dropped the curtain he held.  Snowflakes fell fast and furious littering the front lawn and side yard faster than he could count.  By morning the accumulation would be several inches deep with more on the way.   Christmas was less than a week away. 

Rachel’s where bouts remained a mystery.  No one knew how to reach her.  Her desk looked empty and strangely dank with her gone.  Gil hoped she returned soon.  He missed her.

The Kougar was search-engining Scribd for any illegally downloaded books... her books might be there, but didn't show in the search... however, this blog blast from the past did show up...
