Late night mews, Autumn-adorable KitKats... a lovely warm day on the tame prairie... the Kougaress could live with these kind of temps everyday... early evening at sunset this Big Cat saw the beautiful crescent moon high in the southwestern sky... yesterday she gathered up two buckets full of apples from her organic apple trees... and there's a lot more to go... every apple she's eaten so far is just absolutely delish, and is the Kougaress ever grateful... the wild critters have been munching on them too... but there seems to be enough for all of us.

Saturday night mews, Autumn-rollicking Big Cool Cats... more wonderful weather on the tame prairie... and the Kougaress had all these plans for what to get done... she was out cutting some of her jungly yard down when she got bee stung unexpectedly, not once, but three overall times, one a direct stinger hit... yeah, she must have disturbed a nest... so, at that moment her life was in jeopardy since this Big Cat goes into Anaphylactic Shock unless she takes a particular supplement [Country Life Aller-Max] that she always keeps on hand... usually it only takes one dosage... this time, with the nasty, no-fun pain, and the fact that her thumb turned bright red, and the redness began spreading rapidly, she took three dosages, along with extra Vitamin C... and topically treated the three site areas with Tei-Fu oil, and some other natural products...it took about six hours before this Big Cat started feeling normal, and her thumb returned to its normal color... now there is just a bit of swelling... for several years as a kid, the Kougaress got bee allergy shots to supposedly keep her from having a bad reaction... well, that only worked one time in her life... after that, well, this Big Cat had to find her own remedies... thanks to the Divine, and those in the know about such remedies, she has found what works... thus, she's still alive and kicking and blogging.

Chloe looked down at her baby bump.  She tried to smile in between her stomach lurching and her need to devour food as if there was nothing more coming.   Wearing clothes other than her stretched out sweat pants and Gill’s extra-large t-shirts left feeling dumpy and out of style.  Not that her current outfit helped either.  Her bright yellow nightshirt covered by the worn hot pink bathrobe she found in the thrift store two towns over along with her mismatched slippers left no impression of her concern with dressing up or doing more than relaxing.

Friday night mews, Sexy Pirate Kittens... yes, it was Talk Like a Pirate Day... and this Big Cat had some fun finding and looking at pirate fantasy art... yeah, she needed that break... more like summer on the tame prairie today and there were some lovely breezes when the Kougaress trekked down to her mailbox... some small critter burrowed into the deep grass when she walked by, but no telling what it was... although, it didn't move like a rabbit... another mind-expanding and mind-blowing day with all this Big Cat learned that is out of the proverbial box... no, life is not as advertized.

   “What do you need, Betty Lou?” he asked, exasperated. The regular night shift dispatcher had been out for almost three weeks on maternity leave and for reasons he didn’t even what to know, the Chief had hired batty old Betty Lou Harris to fill in during the duration. Betty Lou was closer to eighty than to sixty, and had watched an awful lot of cop shows during her many years as a home maker. Tom knew this because the old lady was very fond of trying to quote them over the radio. It wouldn’t be so bad if she were getting the quotes right, he mused.

Anyhoo, I need time to finish polishing my mss, Ride the Roan Stud, so I can submit it, then move onto the my next WIP. I've been begging for an out-of-time closet where I can write to my heart's content, then simply step back into current time... but, so far, my request to the writing goddesses and gods has fallen on deaf ears... yeah, maybe, someday. ~silly grins~

Monday night mews, most excellent Felines... warmer, but still more Autumn like than summer on the tame prairie... it's nice, but weird feeling! ... so, the Kougaress had an experience she doesn't want to repeat... she awoke during the night with something in her eye, so small she couldn't get it out, even when she flushed the eye with colloidal silver, then water... however, she remembered another time from say at least fifteen years ago when something similar occurred... if you take a clean cotton swab, dip it in purified water, then place it beneath your lashes next to your eye, and then blink so all the lashes rub against the swab... well, yep that worked... so her eye is just fine, thankfully!!! ... so, another long, exceptionally busy day for the Kougaress, and her eyelids are droopy.

Keep those claws sharp but get plenty of rest too, darling kittens. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!
