~~~The First Six Paragraphs From Chapter Forty-seven of My WIP, WAITING FOR A FILLY GIRL, a ShapeShifter Seduction Novel~~~  

Flubergastov. Keina mentally frowned. A battle mare should be tougher than this, ready at a moment's notice to fly and fight. A training regimen was definitely in order.

Several days after helping to defeat the drone armada, she still recovered. Upon their return to the cabin, Drev had pampered her, making certain she rested, and ate nutritious meals.

Keina stretched her wings with care. The cold brisk wind ruffled her feathers as she flapped, testing her strength.

About to lift off for a short flight over the forest surrounding the cabin, Keina heard an all too familiar whoosh-crackle. A portal opened behind her. With her intuitive senses shrieking, she whirled around.

Panic gripped Keina as if a thrown rope choked her. She neighed a scream. Appearing like a herd of Pegasus demons, Prince Tretorff and his cohorts streaked through the portal toward her.

Crazed, her eyes bulging, Keina bolted for the cabin. Drev raced toward her.

Trouble In Wolf Peak Territory ... Freedom and Gratitude

As wolf, Dante raced up the mountain trail that passed near his Interspecies Pleasure Club. The subterranean complex he'd built—and expanded for several years now—was hidden from prying eyes deep within a timber and conifer forest.

Wild, ferocious with the need to run his territory—given recent scat-troubling events—Dante exploded. In a blaze of speed, he challenged the cold whipping wind.

Primal love of the land thundered through Dante, and became the swift ruthless hum of his blood. The pungent scents of Mother Nature excited his nose like a Thanksgiving day feast.

As he sprinted for his observation spot on the side of the mountain, the crisp autumn air blasted into his lungs. He was alive. He was free.

"Question, mate. Why was that bloody demonic ball sent to kill your ass?"

"I'm not certain I was the target. This weapon locks on the nearest combatant. It has a tech sniffer that ferrets out the DNA signature. That signature turns on the need to predator-feed, or perish."

"Diabolical drongos. I'd like to do the world a real favor. Find those mad freakin' scientists, and dump them in the middle of the desert...loose their murder weapons on them."

"You'd do better dumping their bosses in the desert—let the buzzards pick their  Machiavellian bones clean. Most of the scientists are compartmentalized to the point they don't know the end result of their projects."

Dugger barked, a disgusted sound. "Gotta know in their God-given souls, though."

"True enough." Drev agreed, watching Keina cruise closer to the ground. She came to a soft landing. Yet exhaustion owned every line of her

Concerned, Drev, with Dugger matching his steps, sprinted the short distance.

So, major changes for the Kougar. As she stated before, she is no longer allied with SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, and now has her own shapeshifter/supernatural world, ShapeShifter Seduction, which is a spinoff of Talbot's Peak, and will be called Wolf Peak Territory. At this point, she is calling the new town, Moon Lake. But it's going to take awhile to develop everything for her heroines and heroes. "Cause, for one thing, the Kougar wants a logical transition and storyline... and she only has so much time.  

Anyhoo, the Kougar is almost finished with Chapter Forty-six of Keina and Drev's erotic love story, Waiting For a Filly Girl... yep, she's getting closer to the happy ending... now the prince villain who is after Keina, is about to have his comeuppance. ~grins~

Splitsville For Real ... yes, the coup is complete...

So, it's done, kitkat lovelies, the Kougar has been eliminated as one of the authors at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS. This was done without once speaking person to person to her, or attempting to resolve any issues in a grownup manner. That is, except for author, Serena Shay. Truth to tell, this Big Cat author is not all that surprised, given the negative side of human nature, and the dynamics of how groups often operate...they end up eating their own. From what little the Kougar knows about that original REALITY SHOW... [who can remember the name, there's been so many now?] this negative dynamic was demonstrated over and over again on this Reality Show... anyhoo, her heroine and heroes will continue their stories at the ShapeShifter Seduction blog, THE FREEDOM TIMELINE [notice the lack of an *S* at the end of Seductions] . So...yes, this Big Cat is feeling very sad. She did her best, but *could not* compromise her characters to a conflicting author vision of Talbot's Peak. Like her heroines and heroes wouldn't fight back against having their freedom and safety compromised. Whatever... but really, wouldn't Kitty fight back against anyone and everyone who threatened the safety of her loved ones??? 

On a further note, from a cosmological perspective... the world is tearing apart at the seams in horrific, horrific ways... The terror in Paris, and the ensuing terror in the wake of this heinous attack, mirrors the Aquarian Age vibrations at this point in history. As Volcano has forecast, in his weekly angelic forecast, THE GREAT DIVIDE is here, and the chasm is only expanding between the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly. This is microcosm, macrocosm, which means it will be reflected in all of our lives. In other words, one of the dynamics, is that those of like mind will group together more than ever. There will be much rending apart in society, as people move toward those they resonate with most, regardless of which side you come down on.

And as she said before, the Kougar may have to do rewriting of certain characters, depending on how the authors feel about those characters being in her book. WHO KNOWS??? 

Also, she hasn't had time to properly set up the SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTION blog... it will take her some time, given her busy-busy circumstances... so, please be patient.

*Heading toward TURKEY DAY* howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.

After the question was asked if I really wanted to leave SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, I reconsidered my decision to "bow out" . Because, of course, I want to continue in the fantasy world I've helped to world-build from the beginning. Also, I feel it's only fair to my heroines and heroes—who are currently clamoring at me nonstop.

At this point, I'd like to make it clear, I love ALL of my fellow authors. And, as a reader, I appreciate and enjoy their flash scenes. Their creativity amazes me.

However, given my worldview, my personal experiences in life—and the feelings and  worldview—the life experiences of my characters—well, for a lack of a better way of expressing it...we have clashing worldviews. At least, that's my perception. 

The only solution I know of, is to simply create a separate timeline, a parallel Talbot's Peak, if you will... in the same plotline-vein as the TV show, SLIDERS [1995-2000].

Thus, my flash scenes, in no way reflect other storylines of shifter/supernatural life in Talbot's Peak...although, obviously, only to the degree that it makes a logical story...again, as was done in the various SLIDERS versions of Earth reality.

If anyone is offended by my authorly plotline-version of the Peak, I ask you to simply tune out, change the channel, and continue to enjoy the other flash scenes.

Restless, her inner cat tail slashing back and forth, Kitty paced her office in the town library. Change, like a typhoon wind, permeated the very atmosphere. She hated like hell to confront her inner knowing...but, here it was.

Everything was about to explode. She knew it to her feline-intuitive core.

When a polite knock sounded at the door, Kitty jumped and whirled like her cat self. "Come in," she called out, knowing it was Sapphyra, a psychic who was part of Dante's Circle of Witches.

Fishsticks, tears already dripped on her cheeks. With a swipe of her hand, Kitty hastily wiped them away.

Okay, kittens all, yep the proverbial crap hit the fan today at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, and this Big Cat author has departed the author group she's come love and deeply appreciate, overall... the Kougar knew this sort of situation was about to go down, that she was in the gun sights, so to loudly yowl... so, she was somewhat mentally prepared when the HIT came... if you want the down and dirty, it's in the comment section of the latest post... at least, it was... who knows, if it will remain or not... sad to say, the buttons got psychologically pushed too hard for various reasons... that was evident... anyway, the Kougar will not go into an in-depth analysis of the psychological dynamics involved, which are all too apparent... nor will she attempt to defend her position in the matter, which she could with a fine-edged and deadly-word sword... but that wouldn't serve anyone, except in terms of the ego... you know, as in who gets to be queen bitch, and make the rules of the game... thus, it's just best she leave, and do her own SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTION THING... yep, time to pick up the pieces, and move forward... and yes, it hurts... it hurts a lot.

“Yeppur. Technically, the entire Pleasure Club complex lies outside the Talbot’s Peak city limits. We can’t provide him with liquor licenses or building permits or any of that fun stuff. He has to go through the county for that, and I know for a fact he never did.”

Chapter Forty-five

Her blood a fierce blaze, her spirit fiercer, Keina soared beneath the canopy of diamond-brilliant stars. Symone's thighs gripped her sides hard as Keina banked a tight turn. She struck the cold air with her wings, swooping toward the ginormous formation of the spidery-ugly drones—all them her size, at least.

With deadly precision, mere minutes ago, Symone had eliminated ten of the laser-weaponized unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs. Whoever, or whatever. commanded the killer-tech swarm—whether humans with joysticks, a human variant species, or an AI in control—they'd made a serious combat mistake. 

She and Symone had not been blown out of the sky.  

Snapping her wings wide, Keina put on the aerial brakes. She wheeled a u-turn, and with her wings furiously beating the air, she streaked along the back edge of the drone formation that advanced on Talbot's Peak territory.

So, my carnal cherub hero, Volcano, who stars in WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS... between the two of us, we have decided to drastically shorten and make big changes to the WEEKLY ANGELIC FORECAST... this is for several reasons... one, what is *really* happening in the world has become way too extreme-insane-enormous — and on the bizarre-paranormal side — to cover, or beyond the scope of the forecast... not to mention ALL that is happening has become supercalifragilistic expalidocious to the point it is mainly unbelievable for most folks to understand, let alone assimilate, and utilize... the overall population, sad to say, has been dumbed down, and kept in the dark for so long, the gap of understanding is just too ginormous... further, this Big Cat has caretaking duties which limit her time severely... thus, she will attempt to utilize her precious time for authorly projects, such as actually writing more... hopefully!!! But who knows? In this unstable, cliff-hanging world... still, the Kougar wants to write erotic romances where the worlds are a vision of what could be for humanoid races, shifters included of course — the beauty, the art, the love, the soul-fierceness and goodness of life that could be...

November howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers. 

So, good intentions be damned today. I'd planned to get this first draft of my chapter written and posted in a much more timely manner. But no such luck. I had to do an emergency fix-up job, and to do it, I had to dig through stuff to find what I needed... and so on, and so on... then, the day went wacky-busy from there. 

However, here it is—finally—a rough-draft chapter from Keina and Drev's erotic love story, Waiting For a Filly Girl, a SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS WIP.

The Drone Attack On Talbot's Peak Territory 

Drev glued his gaze on Keina as she galloped over a flat stretch of ground. Her sheer beauty as winged horse bewitched him. No doubt, bewitched him. 

Symone rode on his filly's back as if she'd been born to it. Earlier in the day, the two of them had gone on a long test flight, which had been declared successful. 

Enchanted by the flapping of her pale glimmering wings, Drev watched Keina launch skyward. Her lush tail flowed like a silvery banner, and her magnificent wings strongly beat the air.

Drev felt his spirit soar with her.

Quicker than he liked, Keina and Symone become super tiny in appearance, a gleam against the star-filled night sky. The plan was to sharpshoot from on high.
