Four Corners Cryptids... and Amongst the Chaos...

A gorgeous filly, who wouldn't want to ride with the wind astride her?

Saturday night mews, Summer-running and rambunctious Kitkats... thank goodness, instead of sweltering temps, storm clouds kept the high nasty heat at bay today on the tame prairie... very little rain, but at least it wasn't super muggy or super hot... gosh, all the doingness stuff that gets in the way of writing time... yikes!

Yowling about... lots of strange doings, darling kittens, this coming week, most likely. Hang on with your claws, and use them when needed. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Amongst the Chaos: The In-Laws Arrive!
By Solara

Gill tossed the ledger down on the desk.  “Three hundred dollars to get your grandfather unstuck, Chloe.  Is he some kind of daredevil?  I mean how many times can you shinny down a chimney and morph when the moon is out of sight?”

Rachel smiled as she laid more papers on the desk.  “Lunch time boss man.  Be back in an hour.”

Gill glanced at his watch, opened his mouth to speak, and all he saw was the hind quarters of Rachel as she trotted out the office door.  He suspected she ran to keep out of what might become his and Chloe’s first marital spat.  “Great, half the day spent paying the bills your family ran up so far.  How about we go to Rattigan’s and see what Louie’s got on special?”

Reading Creates Physical Changes In The Brain
Thursday, July 24, 2014
It's summer in the Northern Hemisphere, for many a time to seek rest, relaxation and a good book. The good news is that finding the time to sit and read could actually result in positive physical changes to our brains.
A recent study indicated that reading a novel caused long-lasting alterations in the resting-state connectivity of the brain.
“Stories shape our lives and in some cases help define a person,” commented neuroscientist Gregory Berns, lead author of the study and the director of Emory University’s Center for Neuropolicy. “We want to understand how stories get into your brain, and what they do to it.”
The project monitored the brain reactions of twenty-one students over nineteen consecutive days as they each read the same novel, Pompeii, a 2003 thriller by Robert Harris based on the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in ancient Italy.

Four Corners Cryptids ... the Kougar found this Coasttocoastam show utterly fascinating and utterly informative! Plus, the Four Corners region of America is the setting for the current *paranormal shapeshifter erotic romance* this Big Cat has been writing under the pen name, Stevie Klark... which she hopes to finish, then polish shortly.

Bigfoot & Southwest Cryptids

Date: 07-25-14
Host: Dave Schrader
Guests: JC Johnson, Open Lines

Filling in for George Noory, host Dave Schrader (email) was joined by cryptozoologist JC Johnson (, who shared his research and experiences with cryptids in the Southwest US. He recounted details from his 1999 bigfoot encounter at Blue Ridge Reservoir in the Mogollon Rim area of Arizona. Johnson and a friend were camping on a ten by fifteen foot rock on a lake when they heard a high-pitched shrill scream and the sound of something moving through the trees. "I saw a huge outline of a very large body in the moonlight," Johnson said, adding that the shrieking creature began throwing rocks and other forest debris from the ridge above the camp site.

When the creature stopped its deafening cry to take a breath it sounded like a 300-pound lung filling up with air, he recalled. Johnson admitted the encounter shocked him and his friend, but suggested bigfoot's aggressive behavior was likely caused by their presence in its territory. After the creature left, still screaming, Johnson investigated and found the trail it had made coming in and leaving. He recommended other interested researchers set up cameras then build a large bonfire and sing loudly to summon the creatures close to the camp site. "They come in and check you out and they watch you," he revealed.

Johnson discussed the case of a young woman who was plagued by a Nightstalker that would tap on her windows and walls at night. A three-clawed track was found outside the house and night cam footage revealed something large and skinny in the vicinity. The creature was estimated to be over nine-feet tall and, according to one eyewitness, had a face similar to the monster from the horror movie Jeepers Creepers, Johnson explained. Corn plants in a nearby field were knocked down flat and a Navajo elder told Johnson about how Nightstalkers fly off the mesa and glide into the field. "For all intents and purposes we're dealing with a demonic gargoyle torturing this young lady," he proposed. Johnson also talked about the Skinwalker phenomena and the process by which an initiate transforms into an animal, his own experience with a black-eyed female, and the existence of miniature T-rexes.

Gobekli Tepe: the Temple of the Watchers
The mysterious stone complex of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey is one of the great mysteries of archaeology. This week, Andrew Collins reports on his findings at the site and discoveries nearby that suggest even more incredible ruins remain to be uncovered.
Andrew Collins has traveled to Gobekli Tepe many times, and has developed a revolutionary theory about the meaning of the 12,000 year old complex. Here, he explains how it was built 12,000 years ago as a reaction to a horrific global cataclysm, and how it works as a gateway and map of the sky-world reached via a star in the constellation of Cygnus.
Unique and mind-opening information from one of the world's great explorers, Andrew Collins!

"The foundation of health is optimal nutrition, nutrigenomics and not the prevention of disease with vaccination or the treatment of disease with drugs. No longer is the germ theory relevant to the understanding of disease. Provocative pictures and cases relative to following the protocol of yearly vaccinations bring the reader to an intimate understanding of the face of medicine

Wishing you romance on the wild side…
