...writing Chapter Twenty-two...

Art by Susan Sedon Boulet

Late night mews, summer-pampered and scampering Pussycats... still cool lovely weather on the tame prairie... yay! ... so, more beautiful flitting butterflies about and the Kougar was out cutting down some of her jungly yard today... the rains have caused fast tall growth this year... and there might be storms next week ... and yeah, another super busy day, of course... but this Big Cat's eyes are still open wide, so she might get more done tonight.

Buckle up and buckle down, darling kittens. The road ahead is more than bumpy-difficult. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

RLF] What's a Story Molecule?
Date: Jul 17, 2014 9:09 AM

I've been a fan of the TV Tropes website for years. It illustrates themes and mega-themes in fiction and can be a great source when trying to make sure you don't "overdo" characterization and plot. http://tvtropes.org The site Design Through Storytelling created a Periodic Table of Storytelling that uses the TV Tropes concept as well.

My friend Melissa Snark got the idea to not only use it to illustrate how one of her books is laid out, she also invited other authors to her site to share how theirs are illustrated. By combining the "storytelling element" chart with our stories, we put together quite a package of story molecule posts.

I'm the last one up in the series "Elemental Storytelling." http://bit.ly/1oZLdBv I hope you'll come take a look. What molecule form would your favorite story take?
