Nighttime mews, Samhain-spectacular Felines... lovely cooler day on the tame prairie today... the neighbor's longhorn cows were close to the fence when the Kougaress trekked down to her mailbox, and one of them is really friendly... so, this Big Cat spent part of the day cutting up her 'good and natural' apples so she could dry and freeze them... but, gosh, there is so much to get done these days!

Watch out for those creepville ghosties on the loose, darling kittens. A good snarl and threatening claws will chase them away... and, remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Late night mews, Samhain-spirited Big Cat Beauties... coolish on the tame prairie with lots of clouds floating overhead... last night the winds were so blustery, the Kougaress brought in her house plants... right now, the crescent moon is hanging above the western horizon and is a gorgeous shade of Halloween orange... this afternoon, the Kougaress spied a gorgeous redheaded woodpecker outside her kitchen window, and watched this critter search for dinner on a small leafless tree... meanwhile a girl cardinal flew by... and then some smaller, mostly brown birds settled on horsetail and dined on the seeds... oh, and this Big Cat picked up more of her apples... they are so delish!

So, darling kittens, don't let the spooks haunt you, and keep those claws at the ready for any zombie activity. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Late Friday night mews, Autumn-glorious Big Cat Beauties... warm, hazy, and sorta tropical feeling on the tame prairie today... but not uncomfortable at all... this Big Cat is enjoying all this fab weather of late... when she ventured outside to get some stuff done, she inadvertently frightened one of the wild rabbits, who took off like a shot ... and on the ick side, when she trekked down to her mailbox, she saw this fresh pile of something unidentifiable... it was weird looking... no smell, but the Kougaress wasn't going to get close enough for a real smell test, either!

So, darling kittens, get ready for spookiness, and for all the Halloween thrills and chills. Watch out for the ghosts and ghoulies. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Late night mews, Autumn-misty Big Cat Beauties... yep, some nice rain on the tame prairie, and an overcast day, but warmish... the leaves are turning more colorful and beautiful ... and the Fall light is causing the late afternoon scenery to be touched with gold... the Kougar heard the new moon eclipse is about the marriage of agape love and sexual love... or the spiritual united with the material in a new and wonderful way. 

So, darling kittens, the superstorms of life and the super shocks just keep coming ... like earthquakes that just keep on swarming nonstop ... time for an inner balance point. And always remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Ohmygosh, once again, the Kougar worked on the formatting for the free read we authors at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS are planning to make available... everything was going fairly well, and she made good progress... UNTIL, the nightmare began... correcting one error led to a whole slew of errors because of the way 'find and replace' works, which is helpful in some circumstances, but the Kougar doesn't have a vast amount of experience with it either... thus, it can turn into an utter horror scene... so, the problems may have been solved... hope, hope... and that's why it's far preferable to write in the correct ebook-format style in the first place... but since this Big Cat didn't pen it all in the first place, various other formatting styles were used.

Late night, new moon mews, Autumn-ephemeral, leaf-dancing Felines... a beautiful day as it turned out with a bit of overcast this morning... gosh, the Kougaress likes being spoiled by this good, good weather... looks like, though, a rainstorm could happen later, given the storm front moving this way... of late, this Big Cat has noticed that some of the wild critters around here don't fly off, or scamper off that fast ... maybe they're getting used to her... or they realize she means them no harm as long as they mean her no harm... so, the Kougaress is busier than ever... with her health improving a bit, that just means she has a heckuva lot more to get done... but so it goes in this life.

Prepare, prepare, prepare, most darling kittens. But don't let the fear bug bite. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

So last week I had nothing because I was moping over loosing 2/3rds of my manuscript for Witch's Moon when a bug or something caused Google Drive to wipe it out back to an April revision point. Luckily, I am a paranoid person who has lost work one too many times and I had a print copy. It's still an earlier version, but it was pretty much the whole story. I have been typing madly, trying to get it all back down before I forgot the revisions I'd made recently, so I have not been writing anything knew. And since it's Wednesday, I owe you guys a post. Therefor you are getting another chapter from the story. The picture has nothing to do with the story. I just like it and Supernatural is running again, which means I've bot Winchesters on the brain. Enjoy!

Late night mews, Autumn-ecstatic Big Cat Beauties... yes, another glorious Fall day on the tame prairie... the Kougaress can't remember a Fall season with as many overall lovely-weather days... however, there's two more months of Autumn remaining, given this is the 21st and winter begins around December 21st... so, when the Kougaress trekked down to the mailbox around six in the evening, she heard owls hooting... it was like owl in stereo because one was south of this Big Cat and one was north, and they were talking to each other.

And sheer craziness ensues, darling kittens. Keep your wits about you, and prepare like mad. 'Cause this Big Cat loves ya!

Late night mews, Autumn-exquisite Kitkats... another most lovely day on the tame prairie... once the sun took the chill off the morning, Sol's warmth felt glorious... so, another busier-than-heck day... but there was also a kind of peace about it, which this Big Cat hasn't felt in a long time... some of the squirrels must be getting used to the Kougaress since they don't scamper off as fast anymore... and when this Big Cat was out cutting down some of her jungly overgrowth, she caught a glimpse of the not-poisonous snake that has been hanging around for years now... at least, it looked like the same snake... but who knows?

So, darling kittens, watch your precious tails. All heck is about to play out. Always remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Late night mews, infamous and Autumn-cavorting Big Cat Beauties... a beautiful, blue-sky Fall day on the tame prairie... when the Kougaress trekked down to her mailbox, the neighbor's part-longhorn calf, about half grown, came up the fence in a friendly fashion... this Big Cat would have tried petting him, but there was too much brush in the way... but he was a cutie... and yesterday, the Kougaress saw the golden eagle family circling the fields... there looked to be at least three smaller young ones joining in... and yeah, the squirrels are busy preparing for winter, scurrying about... also, yesterday, as the Kougaress opened her front door a cardinal jetted by... she's seen these critters do this a few times... their speed is amazing.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend, darling kittens. Keep preparing for the times ahead, it will likely be needed at some point. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

I was out in my backyard in Santa Cruz taking pictures of the full/super moon on Oct 8, 2014. I decided to take a few of the moon through the trees. I used different filter settings, just playing around. My wife and I were viewing the photos on our TV when we came across this one, it appears as though I was not alone. Just in time for Halloween eh?
