Blast from the past

Midnight mews, Springing flower-pouncing Felines... cooler, but pleasant on the tame prairie today... however, storms could be moving in... gosh, gee whiz! ... what a crazy-making day... the Kougaress had a major computer glitch this morning, first thing... and that took over an hour to resolve... thank goodness for the system restore feature... then, it was just wacky this and that all day... then, this Big Cat gets informed by earthlink that the access number she's been using all these years won't be available in about a month because of rising costs... well, now she's in a pickle as to what to do, given her location and circumstances... and, of course, she'll have to shell out more bucks for whatever solution, if there is one that works... could be, this Big Cat won't have access anymore... ~sighs~

Take care and share the incredible being you are, darling kittens... 'cause the world needs you. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

Authoress news and mews ~

The Kougar made a bit of good progress on her latest SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS WIP, Keina and Drev's love story. This has been such a major crazy day, it's a wonder anything got done.

Blast from the past
by Rebecca Gillan

Happy Wednesday-ish. It's only 8:45pm where I am so technically, I am not late with this post. But I missed the last two Wednesday's, so I figured I needed to post something. As I am in the middle of a project that I can't really share and haven't been writing much that doesn't involve that story, I decided to go picking through my WIP folder and found the following hem, which I originally posted a few years ago. It's still pretty good though. Enjoy!

Hannibal glanced up when he heard Bambi open the door to the Ranger Station. Then he did a double-take so fast he almost gave himself whiplash. His longtime friend and coworker was no metrosexual by any means, but he was a mule deer and mulies tended to be very neat about their appearance. At 5’10” and 160 lbs, Bambi had the sleek build to pass himself off as a model in his US Forestry Service uniform. Most of the time. At the moment, Bambi was covered in paintball splatters, bird shit, and goat hair. Bo was pretty certain he hadn’t looked like that when he left the station for his regular patrol.

UFO Bases
BLURB: Appearing during the third hour, researcher Richard Sauder spoke about underwater bases associated with UFOs, as well as the secret government, and a coming economic implosion. The late investigator and cryptozoologist Ivan T. Sanderson concluded that underwater UFOs were real and operated by undersea inhabitants, said Sauder, who added that Lake Erie is a hotspot for such activity. There are underground salt deposits in the lake area, which are easier to drill into and create caverns than regular rock, he explained. Intriguingly, he also suggested that the underground bases may be connected with time travel, as water has many unusual properties and it may somehow facilitate the malleability of time.
Last hour guest, paranormal expert Joshua P. Warren talked about a 1997 UFO crash in Puerto Rico, which he recently investigated and found some anomalies at the site, such as an odd cactus that may have radioactive traces. The site, which is near one of the oldest mountains in the Caribbean, is also where a Mothman-like creature called the Gargola (gargoyle) has been spotted, he said.

‘Clear’ App Purges Tweets Before they Purge your Career
Breitbart - Going “clear” is in this year. First as a perfect score for horse jumping; then in Alex Gibney’s Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival; and now as the new project of Ethan Czahor, who had to resign as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the Jeb Bush Presidential campaign over some nasty old offensive tweets. Czahor has just launched a new iOS app called "Clear" to purge offensive “stuff” you may have posted on social media.

Wishing you romance on the wild side…
